Everyone agrees that I should be taken to the hospital, at least temporarily, but it can't be Gldani or Gori - Mikheil Saakashvili

The third president has released another letter from Rustavi Prison - he thanks everyone who paid attention to him yesterday and expressed their support. The third president says that even the prison doctors are concerned about his health condition and agree that he should be transferred to a private clinic.

He says it is unacceptable that he be transferred back to Gldani or Gori.

"Thank you to everyone who came to the prison. Friends, I have not moved today. Regarding my health, all the prison doctors are concerned and all agree that it is necessary immediately, at least temporarily, to take me to the hospital until I get real treatment, but it cannot be either Gldani or Gori, where I was physically and psychologically abused, which caused my current situation.

I am very grateful for the solidarity of the society, I am saddened by the arrests in Batumi. I am also grateful for the moral support of the international community. "I hope all this will yield results," Mikheil Saakashvili wrote.

Yesterday, after the arrival of the ambulance team at Rustavi prison, there was an expectation that the third president would be taken to the clinic, but the information was not confirmed. Late at night, only a representative of the Public Defender was allowed to visit Mikheil Saakashvili.
