According to the government, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili handed over the second part of the European Commission's questionnaire to EU Ambassador Karl Hartzel.
"We are pleased to present the answers to the questionnaire. We have completed the completion, 7 books in total have been published and we are happy to provide them to you. We cannot wait to hear the decision of the European Commission and member states," said Garibashvili.
The Ambassador thanked the Prime Minister and said that this will be very helpful to the European Commission in determining the outcome. Prime Minister handed the first part of the questionnaire to EU ambassador on May 2.
After the second part of the questionnaire has been submitted, the European Commission will start preparing its own assessment report, which will be presented to the Council of the European Union, and an appropriate decision is expected by the end of June.
