Giuli Alasania is waiting to meet her son - Viva Med does not yet comment on the condition of Mikheil Saakashvili

Mikheil Saakashvili has been transferred for several hours to the Viva Med clinic, but it is still unknown what his current state of health is and what kind of medical care he is receiving from doctors at the clinic.

Neither the penitentiary authorities, nor the judiciary, nor the doctors at Viva Med have given any comments so far. Neither his doctor nor his mother, who is at Viva Med waiting to see her son, have any information about the third president:

"What I'm hearing from the doctors is that there's no experience here that is required by his illnesses.  There are already 9 diagnoses and so it is necessary to transfer him, and even abroad, not all clinics can take him. There remains a request for him to be transferred," Giuli Alasania said. .

Giuli Alasania applied to the Ministry of Justice with the corresponding request for admission to see her son, however due to the fact that today is a holiday and the ministry is unavailable, the request probably will not be considered. Mikheil Saakashvili's personal physician Nikoloz Kipshidze sent the same request to the agency but did not receive an answer.
