Group of independent experts admitted to Mikheil Saakashvili - the judge granted the petition

A group of independent experts was allowed to meet with Mikheil Saakashvili - Judge Nino Chakhnashvili granted the petition of Mikheil Saakashvili's lawyers.

The lawyers of the third president asked the judge to oblige the Center of Empathy to allow the experts of the Penitentiary Service together with Mikheil Saakashvili to the clinic or the colony.

The head of the Empathy Center Mariam Jishkariani was also present at this session of the Tbilisi City Court.

The prosecutor's office also agreed with the petition.

It's still unknown when exactly the experts will meet with Mikheil Saakashvili.

Today's trial on the so called border crossing case lasted for several minutes. Nino Chakhnashvili scheduled the next court session for June 2.
