The CEO of the Mtavari Channel answers from prison and welcomes the creation of the social movement "Take a Step towards Europe". Nika Gvaramia's statement was released on his Facebook page:
"It is with great pride and joy that I welcome the creation of the "Take a Step towards Europe" social movement! I welcome and join from the 212th cell of the 12th penitentiary in Rustavi.
Every word of the manifesto published today would be signed by Shota Rustaveli, Ilia Chavchavadze, Sulkhan Saba Orbeliani, Dimitri Kipiani, the Georgian peasant who created the great Georgian polyphony the Georgian warriors who fell in the crusades or on NATO missions, Kirion the second, Ambros Khelia, Ivane Javakhishvil and Dimitri Uznadze, Vazha Pshavela and David Kldiashvili, Maro Makashvili, General Kvinitadze, fallen Georgian cadets, Zviad Gamsakhurdia and Merab. Kostava, George Antsukhelidze, Georgian heroes killed in Ukraine in order to defend the free world!
