Biased statement based on the narrative of the national movement - Mikanadze on the EPP

"Georgian Dream traditionally associates the statement of the European People's Party with the interests of the National Movement and sees only party interests behind the criticism of European partners:

"A biased statement based on the narrative of the national movement, which will certainly be perceived by the whole society as a statement in the narrow interests of the party and in support of it's member party," said MP Givi Mikanadze

A few hours before the conference, the EPP made a statement about informal, oligarchic governance in Georgia and the erosion of democratic institutions.

They also spoke of the political imprisonment of Mikheil Saakashvili and Nika Gvaramia, and notes that all this hinders Georgia's European integration.
