Nika Gvaramia responds to the reasoning behind the conviction, which was handed over to the lawyers yesterday. The response and assessment of the CEO of the Mtavari Channel to Judge Chkhikvadze's argument was read by his lawyer Dito Sadzaglishvili:
I received "Judge" Chkhikvadze's "reasoned verdict." I wont bother you too much with legal details. I will cite only two marvels.
First, according to the "judge," the consent of the current founders was not enough and the director should have considered the opinion of potential owner Kibar Halvashi and thereby enter into a contract with the Sales House.
Second, a quote from the verdict: "Nika Gvaramia, of course, could have signed for the car as a bonus for himself, but he chose a criminal scheme to damage the company. That is, I'm manic about crime and crazy about sitting in a cell. no comment.
