Dearest and true friends, the most devoted supporters of my country and worthy children of Europe, the historical homeland of Georgia!
I am addressing you from the Rustavi Prison N:12, cell 212. I am addressing you on behalf of myself, my wife Sophia, my children Sandro, Ketevan and Giko, I am addressing you on behalf of my second family - the Mtavari Channel, and I am addressing you on behalf of all the ardent patriots of my homeland. I humbly ask you to make a decision that will not punish my people, proud and free Georgians. We have made the civilizational choice - our place is only in Europe, where our ancient symbol of mankind - the Golden Fleece is kept.
You know better what decision to make. I just want to ask you not to block the road to Europe for the Georgian people. Do not block it, because the only alternative left will be Russia. This alternative will be devastating for us and it will end the history of independent Georgia.
Finally, as a Georgian patriot and as a lawyer, I cannot but ask you to do everything possible to save Mikheil Saakashvili. The greatest admirer of the West in the country, the third president of Georgia, unfortunately, doesn't have much time left if not rescued immediately.
With great hope and best wishes,
Nika Gvaramia
