"It is very unfortunate that such statements are made and that the country is being pressured because the country was not dragged into war. We also heard: a person who does a lot of good for the country as a philanthropist, I mean Bidzina Ivanishvili, who has helped many people, restored hundreds of cultural heritage sites, NATO standard infrastructure for the army, rehabilitation school - this person, that he is a bad person and should be punished. This approach and attitude is categorically unacceptable and I absolutely do not agree with a single word mentioned in the resolution.
Even if all of us are sanctioned, this country will not be dragged into a war. There will be peace in the country, there will be an economic expansion of the country. First of all, those who pretend to be friends of the country, why dont they drag their own countries into a war. They have a stronger economy than us, they have a stronger army than us, they are stronger financially, more people live in their countries so why dont they drag their own countries into war... This attitude that we heard yesterday is categorically unacceptable. and shameful."
Says Maria Kaladze in response to the European Parliament and European Parliament resolution
