Kobakhidze, chairman of the Georgian Dream, calls Europe's largest domestic party, a union of criminal parties. According to Kobakhidze, the resolution against Ivanishvili was passed with support from such an association:
"As you know, more than 200 MEPs did not support this resolution. It was mainly supported by three political groups. One of them is the EPP, this is to say it plainly, a European Union of Criminal Parties, where the National Movement and the European Georgia are represented . It should be a matter of dignity for the EPP not to include criminal groups. We are talking about the National Movement and European Georgia. Consequently, there is a serious political problem here. As long as the National Movement and European Georgia remain in the EPP, that is, as long as the criminal parties remain in the European Party, there will be serious problems," Kobakhidze said.
