Tbilisi Mayor Kakhi Kaladze says he expected that the European Commission would also accept a recommendation on the candidacy status for Georgia. "Frankly speaking, I personally expected Georgia to get candidate status, but unfortunately, this decision was not made, and of course it has its explanation, and we have to tell the public everything, there is nothing to hide, why this decision was made while they talked about three countries, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and all three countries have almost the same reservations, they have to fix something, we have to work on it, two countries got status and Georgia was left without status.
