Irakli Kobakhidze, chairman of the Georgian Dream, called the European Parliament resolution on Georgia a "honorless" document.
He said the document was being lobbied by MEPs Anna Fotyga and Andrew Kubilius.
"The European Parliament resolution is a document without honor. Kubilius and Fotyga were lobbying for a resolution without this honor in the European Parliament," Kobakhidze said.
Let us remind you that on June 9, the European Parliament adopted a resolution on violations of media freedom and security of journalists in Georgia. It was initiated by 5 political groups. Prior to the approval, an amendment was made to the resolution calling for sanctions against Bidzina Ivanishvili. The document was supported by 308 MEPs, while 218 opposed.
