The only task we saw yesterday, which we must all have as citizens of Georgia, which we, European Georgia call towards, is to unite in a single purpose - to expel this regime as a political leper from our political life, to drive out this regime, Ivanishvili together and hold new elections. This is what will save our country - this statement was made by the leader of European Georgia Giga Bokeria during the evaluation of the parliamentary speech of Prime Minister Garibashvili.
Giga Bokeria says that what happened yesterday in the Parliament was the government's reaction to the fact that they are not going to implement any of the EU recommendations and that they will be motivated only to keep their power:
"Yesterday, the Ivanishvili regime presented itself in a particularly disgusting way. What the public saw yesterday in Georgia's illegitimate parliament and what caused public indignation was not only the face of the regime, but also the statement that the current situation, our threat to miss the historic chance to return to the free world, this regime , Ivanishvili and his entourage, and this shameful political nothingness Gharibashvili see an opportunity to strengthen their power. We were told directly that they are not going to change anything, that the interests of the country, their own future, this country, which they themselves seem to be children of, will save the future, which they themselves threatened to destroy. This is a profitable situation for them, they want to show the public the impotence of themselves and their opponents in parliament. They have gone beyond even heated discussions," Bokeria said.
In this situation, he said, the country will be saved by the peaceful expulsion of the Ivanishvili regime and new elections. Bokeria says the public must be ready and protest vigorously
"The only situation when communication with this regime and Ivanishvili will be needed is when the situation breaks down and they are on the verge and Ivanishvili gets used to the idea that he has to give up power. Only then will we be able to talk to them and discuss how this man and his entourage should act so that the country does not suffer even more," Bokeria said.
According to the leader of European Georgia, there is no deoligarchization without Ivanishvili's ouster, and everything without it, including the introduction of the law, is self-defeating.
