Yesterday Garibashvili stated openly that the government will not follow EU recommendations - Salome Samadashvili

Salome Samadashvili, a member of the Lelo party, says that because of the government's actions, Georgia will not be able to obtain EU candidate status tomorrow.

According to Samadashvili, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili openly said yesterday that the ruling team does not intend to implement EU recommendations.

"If yesterday, before Garibashvili's speech in this hall, there was some theoretical chance that the political will in the EU was formed differently, yesterday Garibashvili openly stated that this is a government that does not intend to implement any of the recommendations made by the EU. Yesterday, Garibashvili completed his attempts at the sabotage. So I expect that Moldova and Ukraine will get candidate status and Georgia will not get that status," said Salome Samadashvili.

Anti-state and hate speeches, accusations against the previous government and insulting rhetoric against the opponents - this is how the opposition assessed yesterday's speech, which mainly included referring to Bidzina Ivanishvili as the greatest benefactor, praising the achievements of the Georgian Dream and ridiculing its opponents.

The prime minister blamed the previous government for everything the Dream promised its voters and then failed to deliver.
