Kakha Kaladze commented on the statement by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on the state of Mikheil Saakashvili's health in this way. According to Kaladze, "the main thing for him is the Constitution and the laws" and any kind of treatment is possible in Georgia:
"Their call means nothing to me. The main thing for me is the constitution and the law. All kinds of medical treatment is possible in Georgia for humanitarian purposes. Therefore, if there is any additional need, the relevant agency - the penitentiary system - will do its best to ensure the health and safety of not only Saakashvili, but all prisoners," said Kaladze.
