The civil movement "Home to Europe" states that "Georgian Dream" is deliberately trying to disrupt the meetings planned within the campaign. According to them, they verbally and physically assault the members of the movement.

The movement appeals to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to ensure the safety of people participating in the public discussion.

The "Georgian Dream" is deliberately trying to disrupt the meetings planned within the framework of the #HometoEurope campaign. The party members and supporters of the government in the regions verbally and physically assault the members of the movement in order to create the image that there are two opposing groups in the society regarding Georgia's European integration, which is a forgery. The vast majority of Georgian citizens agree on the European future of the country, this fact can not be covered by forged processes.

The activities planned within our campaign are peaceful and exclude elements of violence. We appeal to the Ministry of Internal Affairs to ensure the safety of the people involved in the public discussion," the statement reads.

For reference, the campaign of the movement "Home to Europe" is taking place against the background of provocations of "Georgian Dream" supporters and party members in the regions. Meetings were disrupted today in Khoni, Telavi and Tbilisi, and yesterday in Zugdidi, Ozurgeti and Kvareli.
