No matter how many people or organizations say, white cannot turn black - Papuashvili on possible sanctions for Ivanishvili

Regarding the sanctioning of Bidzina Ivanishvili, the Speaker of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, says that no matter how many people or organizations demand it, white will not become black. This is how he answered the question on the resolution adopted at the forum of the International Democratic Union (IDU), which also concerns the imposition of sanctions on Ivanishvili and his entourage.

"One thing we need to know is that no matter how many people or organizations say it, white cannot become black, so the key here is not whether someone says something or not, the key is whether there is an argument behind it when it is said without arguments. Here, on the contrary, everyone, be it a person or an organization, damages their own reputation when a statement is made without an argument. In itself, no matter how many people make such statement, white will not become black, white is always white," Shalva Papuashvili said.

For reference, the resolution of the International Democratic Union calls on the Georgian government to immediately take measures to implement the EU recommendations, to give Mikheil Saakashvili the opportunity to receive treatment abroad, to release Nika Gvaramia.
