The International Criminal Court in The Hague has released public versions of the arrest warrants for three people in Georgia, three high-ranking of the so called South Ossetian officials, Mikhail Mindzaev, Gamlet Guchmazov and David Sanakoev.
The Pre-Trial Chamber granted the prosecutor's motion of 10 March 2022, issued an arrest warrant and concluded that there was a reasonable basis that the suspects should be held accountable for committing war crimes.
The arrest warrants are related to their actions during the Russian aggression in Georgia in August 2008.
According to the Chamber, the suspects should be arrested and this request should be submitted to the authorities of the country concerned or to any relevant international organization for enforcement.
