The chairman of "Georgian Dream" again attacks the critical media and this time accuses the "Mtavari Channel" of "propagating the narrative of the Russian FSB".
According to him, the journalist of "Mtavari Channel" Tengo Gogotishvili "made a direct call" for Georgia's involvement in the war.
"You have to ask for the FSB on your television. Yesterday, one of the heads of your TV came out and directly urged us to join the war. Gogotishvili, is he one of your TV executives? He directly said that Georgia must enter the war. It turns out that it was Tengiz Gogotishvili... This man wrote yesterday. He called us directly to enter the war. So it turns out that your TV is an agent of the FSB, it is a simple matter. The Mtavari Channel is engaged in propaganda which some people call the FSB propaganda. When the head of your TV channel calls us with the FSB with a narrative, like the American ambassador said, to go to war, it means you are FSB propagandists," Kobakhidze said.
He did not forget about other critical media journalists and opposition politicians:
"Gogotishvili called us for war yesterday, before that Eka Gigauri, who directly said that we must use the window of opportunity, as well as Lomjaria, who preferred Russian bombs in Tbilisi, Misha Mshvildadze, Vakho Sanaia, Davit Usupashvili, Giorgi Margvelashvili and others. There were calls to impose sanctions, which meant at least doubling the risks, and there were direct calls to launch a plane full of volunteers, which meant directly involving Georgia into the conflict. All this was done by your parties and TV channels," Irakli Kobakhidze said.
