An open message from another former deputy of the government team. Dimitri Khundadze states that the country is under mutual pressure from the West and Russia and calls on the United States ambassador to separate herself from the destruction:
The American Ambassador, instead of this negative silence, can positively separate the intended destruction and possible war in Georgia from the possibility of the correct development of the process, which should be considered in the common interest of big and small countries, and not unilaterally.
Actually, today Georgia and its government are under double pressure: on the one hand, by the chronic open door policy of the West and on the other hand, by blackmailing and sound of weapons in the occupied territories from Russia. As if Georgia has no right to think about its own security.
European integration and NATO membership is a public choice and it is attractive because of justice, rule of law and equality, not without it.
Russian injustice was unacceptable like Western injustice is. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary himself spoke about such an attitude towards Georgia.
I clearly state that the Georgian society does not want a war that is not in its interests and is dangerous for its life. And if someone calls this a Russian narrative, then why do pro-European Georgian politicians, and not only them, speak with the rhetoric of war and promote the change of government through revolution, which also means the prospect of war.
Georgia does not want to share the fate of Ukraine, and this to be the only way for it to get the candidate status.
The silence of the American Ambassador and the indirect or open support of the war parties are destroying the Euro-Atlantic values in Georgia. This is the goal of FSB and the biggest danger for Georgia," said Khundadze.
