"It's shameful... In Georgia, nobody needs their spelled out words" was the reaction of the Georgian Dream chairman Irakli Kobakhidze to the statement by MEP Rasa Juknevičienė on Imedi TV.

In the European Parliament, Juknevičienė defined the term deoligarchization for Georgian Dream and said it means de-Ivanishvization.

Kobakhidze called the MEP's statement shameful and said it was baseless.

"Ms. Rasa's statement was simply shameful. Secondly, this statement has no basis whatsoever and practically repeats what was written in the European Parliament resolution. There is no need to spell out those words here, you have to give facts about how the country is run, no facts, no arguments - just verbal fictions and verbal bickering, believe me, no one in Georgia needs it. The society assesses everything very well," Kobakhidze said.
