"All criminals should be imprisoned," -Gakharia about Giorgi Rurua

"All criminals should stay in prison," - Prime Minister has made another political statement regarding Giorgi Rurua's imprisonment. He says the case has nothing to do with politics.

Giorgi Gakharia was asked about the unfulfilled part of the March 8 agreement, which envisaged the release of political prisoner Giorgi Rurua.

All criminals should stay in prison, and this has nothing to do with the political process, Gakharia said.

According to him, the final decision should be made by the Georgian court. Recall that Giorgi Rurua was arrested on November 18, 2019, on charges of illegal purchase, storage, and carrying of weapons.
