The next trial of the CEO of the Mtavari Channel, Nika Gvaramia, in the Court of Appeals was scheduled for 4 October, at 14:00. The panel of judges explained that it is a vacation period, so the schedule has been rearranged.
"Regarding the date of the next session, we have to take into account the fact that August is a month of vacations and we have a fairly unstable roster, and for a certain period we cannot go at the same time because of newly discovered circumstances, judges have to be in court, so we have rearranged the schedule. We will have to do it at the end of September, or an appointment at the beginning of October, based on the fact that we have already filled September to the end," said Judge Zorbenadze.
The defense noted that fixing the trial in two and a half months is a violation of the deadline.
