The visit to Georgia by European parliamentarians has begun. A delegation of six people is waiting at the president's residence.
European lawmakers, who signed the most high-profile resolution in recent times, begin their meetings in Georgia with Salome Zurabishvili.
The European lawmakers, who demand the sanctioning of Ivanishvili and de-oligarchization, are to be received by the ruling team. The MEP's will hold meetings with the opposition and the nongovernmental sector.
The main topic of discussion will be the implementation of the 12 points of the European Commission's recommendations.
The opposition does not expect the Dream to change its position, despite the visit.
Dream repeats the same thing, that the resolution is unfair and inaccurate and that they will explain with argumentation the inaccuracies of the resolution to the European Parliament members and "will give them an answer."
"This is an opportunity for us to once again use this platform to give an adequate response to these inaccuracies, reasoned, and at the same time this meeting is important in terms of demonstrating how the process is linked to the European Commissions 12-point plan continues to work," says Georgian Dream MP Givi Mikanadze.
