Members of the European Parliament arrived at the line of occupation - no government representatives were with them

The MEPs were in the village of Odze, not far from the occupation line. They saw with their own eyes what Putin's Russia is doing in the country and how it is dividing Georgian villages with barbed wire.
MEPs also met with representatives of the observer mission and received information about the situation there.
It should be noted that, together with European partners, government representatives did not travel to the line of occupation.
The MEPs are currently in Tbilisi. Today, they will have meetings with members of the Georgian Dream and possibly also with the Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
