"The population of Abkhazia needs the support of the neutral government" | The "Dream" remains silent about the Russian annexation of Bichvinta

Official Tbilisi is still silent about the actual and secret Russian annexation of Bichvinta. It's been two weeks since the so-called parliamentary agreement between the occupation regime and Moscow, although the Georgian government has not yet reacted to this fact.

We are talking about transfer of 186 hectares of land and marine territory, former state villas and the adjacent coastline in Bichvinta to Russia for 49 years, which was followed by a protest in the Abkhazian community. The Dream government has not even made an official statement yet. The only one who has made a statement about this today is the President of Georgia.

Although Abkhazia is occupied, the local community still understands what it means, after all, if Russia carries out this undeclared secret plan of annexation to the end, so they resist it. Our silence during this period is truly unbelievable. Because when the population of the occupied territory resists, you have to try twice or three times as hard.

First of all, this is Georgia, and we have to express it, once again emphasizing secret annexation processes that are taking place there, and secondly, if we say that we care about Abkhazia, we care about the population, and this population is ours. Our fellow citizens are protesting, they especially need support from the neutral authorities, - says Tengis Pkhaladze.
