I would urge politicians, don't start an unnecessary uproar - Irakli Garibashvili on Bichvinta

Published:

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili today reacted for the first time to the ongoing events in Bichvinta and said that we should not create "excessive agitation" on this topic. Speaking on the subject, he also criticized the opposition and said that we lost the Kodori Gorge as a result of the "stupid policies" of the previous government.

"I would like to remind everyone that not only Bichvinta, but also Abkhazia, our ancestral historical territory, and that Samachablo and Tskhinvali are temporarily occupied by Russia. Accordingly, of course, I would call on us politicians not to make start an uproar, I would remind them that as a result of their foolish policies we have lost the Kodori Gorge, which had nothing to do with this conflict, and more than a hundred villages. With our smart policy, Mrs. Emma, we will keep peace, calm and stability in the country, and with our equally smart policy we will unite the country" - said Irakli Garibashvili.
