"The radical opposition does not cooperate with the authorities ... their real goal is not the European way of our country. The only thing that motivates them is to return to power through violence," Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili tells journalists.

Everybody knows the handwriting of our radical opposition, despite our public offer, despite the many constructive steps we have taken, you saw and we all witnessed that the radical opposition is not cooperating with the authorities.

They certainly do not want to get candidate status, here I would like to remind everyone that it was during their time in power that the Association Agreement process talks started 3 years late, talks on visa-free travel, free trade negotiations were delayed. Therefore, of course, we are well aware that their real goal is not the European path of our country. The only thing that motivates them is to return to power through violence, which of course ended in a fiasco as well," says Garibashvili.
