"They are interested in the failure of Georgia. Along the way, they want Georgia not to get candidate status," Georgian Dream chairman Irakli Kobakhidze says of this with regard to the opposition.
This is a matter of parties that are not involved in the process of working groups. 4 political parties are represented in this process and the rest are not. These are the parties with radical agenda, for example the National Movement, such as Lelo and Vashadze's party; they have their own radical, polarizing agenda. Which directly contradicts to the 12 points written by the European Commission. It is their anti-people choice, everybody knows that they are interested in the failure of Georgia. They do not want Georgia to get candidate status, so they sabotage the process. However, this sabotage will ultimately be doomed to failure," says Kobakhidze.
