Chairman of the Georgian Dream Irakli Kobakhidze once again states that there is a xenophobic-chauvinistic campaign against Russian citizens in Georgia. He held a briefing on the subject and said that the "War and Betrayal" party is trying to convince the public that Russians are entering Georgia in unprecedentedly large numbers and that this is dangerous.
"If there is one thing that poses a serious threat to our country, it is precisely the xenophobic-chauvinist campaign. We remind that this campaign resulted in a serious incident in March when a young woman of Russian nationality, who came to Georgia 3 years ago, was thrown a stone in the center of Tbilisi. They have nothing to do with European values, xenophobia and chauvinism have never been and will never be part of Georgian culture. We urge everyone to separate themselves from this anti-state and discriminatory campaign, whose only goal is to turn Georgia into the second front",- says Kobakhidze.
