The request to introduce a visa regime is aimed at dragging Georgia into war - Irakli Kobakhidze

Chairman of the Georgian Dream Irakli Kobakhidze claims that the goal behind the demand to introduce a visa regime for Russian citizens is to drag the country into war. According to him, a xenophobic campaign is being conducted against the Russians, the purpose of which is to draw them into the war.

"There is only one goal behind the visa requirement, this goal is to somehow draw Georgia into a military conflict, the xenophobic campaign fully serves this goal, they could not ensure this directly, now they are trying to indirectly incite aggression in society and eventually lead the country to war, which we naturally will not allow," Kobakhidze says.
