Another sanction of the Bekauri Commission - the regulatory commission fined the Mtavari Channel by 118,688 GEL

Another financial sanction against critical media - the Bekauri Regulatory Commission reviewed the complaint of Georgian Dream, settled it and fined the Mtavari Channel for 118 688 GEL, and warned Formula and First TV in a written form.

This time the reason for the sanction was the video clip "Home to Europe," prepared for the rally of 24 June. The government claims that the clip is a political advertisement that was broadcast between elections. In addition, Dream believes that the anti-European comments by top government officials used in it are distorted.
