Regarding the selection process of the public defender, a meeting is being held in the parliament today between some of the political entities. At the meeting, they discuss the rules and criteria for the selection of the ombudsman.

UNM, Lelo and Strategy Aghmashenebeli do not attend the meeting. Deputies of "Girchi", "Citizens", "European Socialists" and the party "For Georgia" from the parliamentary opposition are participating in the meeting.
