One of the leaders of the Georgian Dream, Mamuka Mdinaradze, reacted to a video circulated on the social networks, which shows a citizen hanging out a Russian flag in Kutaisi.
Mdinaradze calls what happened a provocation of the "national movement and its cluster" and says the public should not understand it.
"Let's think about one thing, everybody, the society and you, my dear journalists, who would benefit from such actions. Today, such actions organize PR for the only one, the National Movement and its entire cluster, and they and their TV channels build another PR stunt on this.
An unknown person runs, sometimes he puts these flags on his car, sometimes he runs into the park, puts them there, and then they take them off. Then, after 5 minutes, a flag shows up somewhere, and in those 5 minutes your TV channels and some agencies show up, take pictures and videos, and then disaster happens. This only benefits the national movement. Such provocateurs will be given answers and I warn and ask everyone not to react to such provocations. There will always be provocateurs who will pour water on the mill of the UNM and Russians and one should not be fooled by it," Mamuka Mdinaradze said.
