Lawyers started consultations on postponement of Mikheil Saakashvili's sentence - Shalva Khachapuridze met with Nika Gvaramia

Lawyers have begun legal consultations on the issue of delaying the sentence of Georgia's third president. Mikheil Saakashvili's lawyer Shalva Khachapuridze met with Nika Gvaramia today at Rustavi's 12th penitentiary facility.

"Basically we talked about delaying the sentence, it was a process initiated by him. There were certain legal and technical points; we worked through those topics. We also discussed positions that he agreed to. He is a smart lawyer, he expressed his position on all of this.issues. Some issues were initiated in his time, some things were added later, and this position is acceptable for him," Shalva Khachapuridze said.
