According to "Empathy", the forensic expert who was with Mikheil Saakashvili came in an independent capacity at the invitation of "Empathy" and his visit has nothing to do with the United Nations:
On August 29 the international experts visited Mr. Saakashvili in Clinic “Vivamedi”, in the framework of the NGO RCT/Empathy’s forensic expertise. The International Forensic expert was invited by the RCT/Empathy.
The forensic expert visited Mr. Saakashvili in his independent capacity by invitation of Empathy. The visit has no relation with UN OHCHR plus he was not staff of OHCHR at the time of visit to Georgia.
