Deputies of the parliamentary opposition are preparing a constitutional lawsuit regarding the changes implemented in the Organic Law "On Common Courts". With the participation of deputies and legal experts, a working meeting regarding the lawsuit was held today in the Parliament of Georgia, in which Ana Natsvlishvili, Tamar Kordzaia, Paata Manjgaladze, Levan Bezhashvili and Ana Buchukuri
participated.

According to them, they have consulted with all the representatives of the parliamentary opposition regarding signing the lawsuit, and the signatures will be collected in the next few days.

[At least 30 deputies have the authority to submit a constitutional lawsuit]

The lawsuit was prepared by members of "Democracy Index - Georgia" and independent lawyers group. The MPs will appeal to the Constitutional Court against the changes initiated by the "Dream" MPs last December and adopted by the Parliament in an accelerated manner.
