The German Embassy in Georgia has responded to the decision of the Georgian government to unconditionally open its borders. The Embassy welcomes this decision and hopes that travelling to Europe will resume as soon as possible.

We welcome the decision of the Georgian government to lift restrictions on travel to Germany. We hope that this is just the beginning and that the travelling to all EU countries will return to normal. This is a priority for Germany as President of the Council of the European Union, the official Facebook page of the Embassy says.
