It is wrong to terrorize and stigmatize the opposition, if anyone is weak, you have to admit, it's society - Nika Gvaramia

Nika Gvaramia, CEO of the Mtavari Channel, believes it is wrong to terrorize and stigmatize the opposition. According to him, if anyone is weak, it is society, and he should not accuse others, including the opposition, of that.

Nika Gvaramia says that Georgian society demands that politicians not talk about them, or talk about ways to solve these problems, but to get results - to solve them.

"I generally think that terrorizing and stigmatizing the opposition is wrong, deeply wrong behavior, and it's not at all clear what the goal is. It is mainly done with good intentions but I do not understand such good intentions to be honest. It brings no result except for strengthening of the Ivanishvili regime. If you do it in the hope that the opposition wakes up and starts working better, crying like this will not bring any result. I say this with much concern and I think that today the Georgian society has appointed the opposition as a scapegoat. If someone is weak, friends, we must admit that it is the society, the opposition is a part of and all the rest. Today the society is unfortunately, radiating weariness, frustration and decided to throw out the problem and find whom to blame, it is wrong and if the opposition has problems it is the society's fault too. So I think we must join the opposition and read the study correctly," Nika Gvaramia said.

He said that what is most alarming about the NDI survey is the index of support for the EU, which has declined. Nika Gvaramia asked the public to think in that direction.
