Military conscription has started in occupied Abkhazia

The so-called Abkhazian  President Bzhania signed the "decree" on military conscription, according to which, from October 1 to December 31, 2022, citizens aged 18 to 27 who are not on the reserve list will be called up for military service.

 According to the "decree", military personnel whose conscription period has expired will be dismissed.

 Bzhania instructed the "Cabinet of Ministers", the "administrations" of districts and the city of Sokhumi to ensure the full implementation of measures related to conscription and dismissal from military service.
