The trial of Mikheil Saakashvili was postponed until December 29. Judge Giorgi Arevadze scheduled the session at 11:00.

According to him, "court sessions cannot be scheduled every day".

Arevadze said that "a person's state of health should always be taken into account", however, the material presented by the witnesses at today's session needs to be examined.

"Let's not expect that it will end in one or several sessions... no matter how unacceptable it is, it will be like this. We cannot leave the evidence without investigations and we cannot leave the witnesses in the middle of the case," said Judge Arevadze.
