Many people join the appeal, which was issued by the fourth president of the country, Giorgi Margvelashvili. Among them are both ordinary citizens and government representatives of various formations.

The signatories of the appeal warn the current president that the elimination of another president will be a black stain that the country's history will never wash away.

"Georgian society unites around two very simple demands, that no torture of people takes place in Georgia, that death by torture and its live publication, and second - that in the last 30 years of our new history in Georgia, for the second time in the last 30 years of our new history, we do not kill our president on the instructions of the Russians. These two very simple topics that society is uniting without any political sign, based on the moral position," says Giorgi Margvelashvili.
