According to Givi Mikanadze, deputy of "Georgian Dream", they will not participate in the extraordinary session called by the president. According to him, the purpose of this meeting is to deepen polarization and sabotage the recommendations of the European Commission.

According to his own statement, the agenda presented by the opposition does not comply with the requirements of the regulations of the Parliament of Georgia, because they were not processed, discussed and reconciled by the political entities at the committee hearings.
For information, the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili called an extraordinary session of the Parliament. The session should be held tomorrow, July 19.
The parliamentary opposition addressed Zurabishvili with a joint statement requesting to convene an extraordinary session. According to the opposition, the issues that ensure the fast fulfillment of EU requirements should be discussed at the extraordinary session.
