Whoever initiates tension between Georgia and Ukraine is doing Russia's work - Papuashvili on Arakhamia

Published:

Parliament speaker Shalva Papuashvili reacted to statements by the leader of the Ukrainian ruling party faction David Arakhamia and accused him of doing Russia's work. According to him, they are aware of the direct links of Ukrainian politicians with the "radical" opposition.

"I will repeat here the U.S. ambassador's assessment that any disagreement between Ukraine and Georgia is only in Russia's favor. From this let us draw conclusions about who is the instigator of these disagreements, whose work one or another person is doing. So there is no point in saying too much here. We Unfortunately, have seen many instances of misinformation about the government of Georgia. We know the direct links to the radical opposition within Georgia, so it's just a sad state of affairs right now. Once again, the split between Georgia and Ukraine is orchestrated by Russia. Anyone who initiates this is doing Russia's work," Papuashvili said.
