ISFED is involved in a revolutionary scenario that the U.S. Embassy wants to implement - another statement of the renegades

Published:

MPs Sozar Subari, Dmitri Khundadze, Mikhail Kavelashvili and Guram Macharashvili, who have left the Georgian Dream, have spread another anti-Western rhetorical statement and again attacked the US Embassy.

The issue is about the statement of the embassy concerning the non-governmental organization ISFED, which says that not admitting the organization to the working group raises questions about the sincerity of the process of parliamentary electoral reforms.

According to the renegade MPs, ISFED is involved in a revolutionary scenario that the U.S. Embassy wants to implement.

The deputies criticize the U.S. embassy for naming the most reliable election monitoring organization, Fair Elections, which they consider "the author of fraud."

We offer the statement in full:

"We cannot leave unanswered the statement of the U.S. Embassy regarding the non-governmental organization ISFED, also known as "Fair Elections," which was denied admission to the working group on elections established in the parliament.

The Embassy called ISFED one of the most reliable organizations for election observation and questioned the sincerity of the process by not allowing it to participate in the working group.

It should be reminded that it is "ISFED", which has been at the forefront of the revolutionary processes twice in the last two years.

First time it happened on the second day of the parliamentary elections, November 1, when the "ISFED" published the results of the parallel vote count which differed from the results of the CEC. The Georgian Dream leaders claimed from the very first days that this was a fake, which they proved with simple math. However, it took ISFED a month and a half to admit it. On December 11, when the unmistakable arguments presented by Georgian Dream could no longer be evaded, the organization was forced to publicly admit its error. In addition, the head of "ISFED" at that time also admitted that the embassy had information about the error at least in late November, when the negotiations between the parties to get out of the artificially created political crisis were conducted under it's leadership.

Along with the results of the parallel vote count, ISFED falsified another figure of an 8 percent negative imbalance, which was another fabrication concocted to recognize the elections as illegitimate. It should be noted that, unlike the parallel vote count, ISFED did not admit the falsity of this data until now, when the negative imbalance figure, in fact, was not even 1 percent.

It was parallel vote count fraud that was the main reason for the radical opposition to declare the elections fraudulent and sabotage parliament, which, together with Transparency International and GYLA, was the called a political crisis by "ISFED" .

When the author of such a large-scale fraud, is referred to by the U.S. Embassy as one of the most reliable election observation organizations, it is clear what we are talking about. Naturally, we have no doubt that the embassy has full confidence in ISFED. After all, it even trusted this organization in forgery.

Unfortunately, the Georgian Dream forgave ISFED for falsifying the results of the parallel vote count and involved it in a number of working processes after the parliamentary elections. The motive for this was immediately known to us, and so we supported the party's approach. It was clear that by demanding a response because of the fake parallel vote count, the government would not come into conflict with one of the NGOs, but with the embassy, which the Georgian Dream was ]avoiding. From today's perspective, however, it has become clear that compromise at the expense of the truth is never justified. Instead of expressing gratitude, the embassy calls ISFED one of the most reliable nongovernmental organizations.

In principle, the embassy has no other choice because ISFED, along with several NGOs, is directly involved in the revolutionary scenario coordinated by the embassy. The embassy's direct message also applies to this - so what if it organized the revolution. By praising ISFED, the embassy directly tells the Georgian Dream that a revolution must take place, the National Movement must return to power to open a second front, and the Georgian Dream and society must calmly accept it. If the government gives in and includes ISFED in the working process, it will be a direct capitulation to the embassy and the National Movement, and we will do everything to make sure that does not happen.

Recall that two months ago, the head of ISFED stood on a stage erected in front of Parliament, where a representative of the National Movement called for the resignation of the government and with the participation of NGOs, he demanded the formation of a technical government and threatened to tear the country apart.

When the embassy supports ISFED afterwards, it was obviously not ISFED, but the embassy that was on stage that day, and the embassy actually voiced the relevant political demands.

The public remembers that we urged the U.S. ambassador to separate herself from the radical political demands of the radical opposition and the corresponding NGOs to dismiss the government and form a so-called technical government, which she did not do. The reason is simple - the author of this demand is actually the embassy, which clearly plans to voice it in the future.

What can be connected with the hysterical attempt of the embassy, the situation in the country and artificially give impetus to revolutionary processes? There can be only one reason for this - Georgia has not fulfilled its unjustly entrusted mission of opening a second front, which is still relevant today. The embassy is well aware that the current government will never sign up to the destruction of the country, and the National Movement is ready to carry out any task. There can be no other explanation for the embassy's hysterical desire to replace the Georgian Dream in power with the completely degraded National Movement.

A few days ago there were also published statements by Laura Thornton, former head of the Georgia Endeavor office, where she says of government leaders, if they want the West, why do they criticize the West. Ms. Laura needs to understand that we like the West because of values that include fairness and freedom of expression. When your country is treated unfairly and you don't even have the right to raise your voice about it, it has nothing to do with Western values. For us, dogma is not the West, but the values that the Western world has traditionally embodied.

When the embassy wants to bring the National Movement back to power and repeat everything the Saakashvili regime brought to Georgia - controlled government, war, monopolized media, business racketeering, torture of people and more - this kind of "West" is foreign to us. We do not want a government that will once again establish an anti-Western regime in the country and will carry out any task harmful to the country like a slave, without saying a word.

Much has been written about Switzerland in recent months. Switzerland has historically been considered a developed democratic country even in Europe. However, what is happening in this country today? If everything is true what Bidzina Ivanishvili's lawyer and experts say - racketeering, unfair trials and unfree media, which were the signature of the Saakashvili regime, the Embassy's favorite government - then it turns out that this model of governance is being actively implemented in Switzerland today. We want Europe to be like the old Switzerland. We really don't want a Europe where the bank, the courts and the media act in complete coordination against justice and human rights.

Georgians doesn't need to learn healthy liberal values and human rights from anyone. Vazha-Pshavela and Ilia Chavchavadze taught us this back in the 19th century. However, Vazha and Ilia also taught us the value of freedom and independence and assured us that nothing has value unless your head belongs to you.

We do not want a state where they try to establish radicalism and authoritarianism in the name of liberalism, democracy and human rights. We don't want a state where the government will drag its country into a destructive war at someone else's behest.

The pressure is strong, but we believe that the power of people armed with truth can overcome all obstacles," the statement said.
